A quick post to let you know that I got another job and I start in November.
There was this really awkward moment where I was offered Job A thirty minutes before I interviewed for Job B and because of things I felt compelled to disclose the fact during the interview. Someone I respect very much was one of the interviewers for Job B. She made it clear I was a leading candidate, but because of other things, she told me that if her daughter were in that position, she'd tell her to take Job A. They also gave me some time to think, but asked me to decide whether I wanted to withdraw as a candidate as soon as possible.
I took Job A. We'll call the job RJD in future posts. Follow that link for a hint.
More to follow, but for now, yay me.
Yay! Congratulations, you deserve it.
